Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty This site offers a wonderfully wide-range wealth of resources on applying Catholic and Christian concerns and heritage to practical problems and issues, with an emphasis on liberty and free enterprise. It provides a desperately needed antidote to the many liberal political sites that promote themselves as Catholic and involving "social justice."

The Polycarp Research Institute The Polycarp Research Institute is a "non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and dissemination of high-quality research designed to enhance the physical, psychological and spiritual condition of mankind. TPRI helps researchers with projects that are designed to reveal the truths contained within Nature’s laws." The Institute does not promote methods or intentions that are inconsistent with the ethical and moral guidelines of the Catholic Church; however, not all of the research that TPRI supports contains a moral dimension (eg, research to find the cure to cancer, to treat ectopic pregnancy etc). The site itself features some of the results of their research in form of articles and scholarly papers.
